About Dr. Roberto

Roberto García García is a highly experienced specialist in Traumatology and Orthopedics, with over three decades of medical expertise and 28 years of teaching experience. His dedication spans clinical practice, surgery, and the training of medical students and residents in his specialty.

Education

Dr. Roberto graduated as a surgeon from the Benito Juárez Autonomous University of Oaxaca (UABJO). He completed his specialization in Orthopedic Traumatology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Work

  • – Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, UABJO, since 1994
  • – Trainer of Orthopedic specialists at the General Hospital, Ministry of Health of Oaxaca
  • – Postgraduate professor for 25 years at UABJO
  • – Retired after 35 years of service at the Ministry of Health

Publications

Dr. Roberto authored “Orthopedic Traumatology. Basic Concepts” in 2009, which laid the foundation for his 2019 publication, “Traumatology and Orthopedics: Basic Topics for the Medical Student.”

Awards

In 2021, Dr. Roberto received the “FEMECOT Award for Orthopedic Excellence” from The Mexican Federation of Colleges of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
