One Lucky Athlete to Join Huatulco Triathlon with Oax Sport’s Support
Leerlo en EspañolOne lucky athlete will be able to participate with the Oax Sport’s support this coming June 12th, 2021, in Huatulco, Oaxaca.
Oax Sport offers the opportunity to be sponsored and participate in the Huatulco Triathlon competition in June 2021. Athletes from the state of Oaxaca can submit their application to receive sponsorship in the Sprint Duathlon race, consisting of a 5k run, 20k cycling, and a 2.5k run. Oax Sport will choose one sportsperson based on their athletic performance, history, and presence in media.
Oax Sport is a sports management agency that offers athletic services focused on athletes and allows opportunities and financial support to participate in national and local sports competitions. The AsTri Triathlon Huatulco is a part of a nationwide series managed by As Deporte with the Mexican Triathlon Federation’s help (FMTRI). The AsTri Triathlon Huatulco event will take place on Saturday 12th in addition to the ITU World Triathlon Series, which will take place on Sunday 13th in Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mex.
“As it is an event of national relevance that has the support of the FMTRI, the amateur competition in Huatulco will allow the selected athlete to have a great experience with competitors from different latitudes in a high-level event. In addition, the participation of the selected sportsperson will be an excellent opportunity to show his capacity and talent and to connect with potential national and international sponsors.”

The opportunity is an open selection process where interested athletes can submit their application through Oax Sport’s website for a chance to be selected to receive sponsorship and participate in the AsTri Huatulco Duathlon 2021. It includes:
- Race fees
- Oax Sport Uniform
- Accommodation
Oax Sport is committed to providing financial support and competition opportunities to a wide range of athletes who reside in the state of Oaxaca. Oax Sport relies on external sponsorship and individuals’ financial support to continue their projects and promote more talented Oaxacans.

- Backyard Mexico in Coahuila, with two ultra-distance runners.
- Ultra Trail Desierto de los Leones UTMS in Mexico City, with seven athletes.
- Ultra Coahuila Garmin in Coahuila, with four trail runners.
