Joanne Phipps is a globally experienced educator and applied ethnographer supporting Oax Sport’s mission with grant writing and international outreach. Born in the UK and raised in the USA, she brings a unique intercultural perspective and over 15 years of higher education teaching experience. Based in Oaxaca, Joanne is passionate about access, equity, and cross-cultural learning. She also leads our U.S. federal grant development following our SAM.gov registration for federal assistance (UEI: DXQMXX5587M5).

About Joanne

Joanne supports Oax Sport as a volunteer grants writer and education consultant. She helps coordinate donation logistics and contributes to proposal development, scholarship outreach, and communications. Her background combines anthropology, international teaching, and nonprofit advocacy.
