Join a guided 11 km sunrise run from Xoxocotlán to the archaeological site of Monte Albán. Led by local athletes and supported by a nonprofit, this adventure blends sport, history, and purpose.

About the Experience
This 11 km guided run begins in the town of Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán and ascends to the base of Monte Albán, Oaxaca’s most famous archaeological site. You’ll pass colorful murals, dirt trails, technical climbs, and local markets—all at dawn.
It’s an immersive physical and cultural experience. Your participation directly supports young Oaxacan athletes through Oax Sport Inc., a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The base price is $1,500 MXN per guest. Discounts are automatically applied for groups:

Need Transportation?
We offer private transportation from your accommodation in Oaxaca City to the starting point and back.
The cost is $200 MXN per person. Our vehicle will remain at the meeting spot during the run so you can safely leave your personal belongings.
