Forensic scientist with over 7 years of experience. As director of CUSPP and UN volunteer for disarmament, Irving leads community-focused violence prevention programs across Oaxaca.
About Irving
Irving is a forensic ballistics expert with over 7 years of experience. He served as head of department at the Forensic Services Institute in the Fiscalía General del Estado de Oaxaca, and now works as a forensic ballistics examiner. As Director General of CUSPP, he leads police training on human rights, crime prevention, and citizen engagement in Oaxaca.

Community Work
Irving leads the Safe Childhood project under the GenerAcción Paz program—an initiative focused on promoting peace, protecting children, and preventing violence through community outreach. He also organizes toy donation campaigns and works with communities across different municipalities, including Rancho Arreche (Cuilápam de Guerrero), La Soledad (Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán), and Asunción Ixtaltepec (Isthmus of Tehuantepec), strengthening education and social engagement in high-risk areas.
Leadership & Volunteer Service
As Mexico’s official UN volunteer for disarmament and violence prevention, Irving represented the country in Peru, will attend New York in October 2025. He has also been a state coordinator for Human Rights in the Global Youth Politician Network.

Featured Initiative
In February 2025, Irving led the Caminata por la Paz en Cuilápam, a major community event that brought together over 200 participants to promote peace, sports, and social transformation. As lead organizer, he helped design this initiative under the GenerAcción Paz program in partnership with UNLIREC, the Municipality of Cuilápam, and Oax Sport.
