Raúl Martínez is from Chahuites, Oaxaca, in southern Mexico, and he already qualified in the U16 80 meters. Titanes is a track and field club based in Oaxaca. Now he and the rest of the team need one more trip before Nacional CONADE, Mexico’s national youth sports championship.
Titanes plans to travel to Tepic, Nayarit, from April 23 to 26, 2026. The team is set to race the 10th Copa Tepic, a regional invitational meet, from April 24 to 26, 2026 at Estadio Olímpico Santa Teresita. It matters because the team gets one more hard look at where things stand before nationals, not in training, but in a real meet with pressure, travel, and no easy reset button.

Who Is Traveling to Tepic
More than 15 athletes and their coach are expected to make the trip. The campaign names:
- Emilio Jiménez Caamal
- Shunca Bianni Moya Santiago
- Óscar Alejandro Cruz Cervantes
- Natania Jiménez Cruz
- Raúl Martínez
That is a big group to move, feed, and house for several days.
Some already have a place at the national stage. Others still need another hard race, maybe a better mark, maybe just a chance to line up against a stronger field and see what holds up.
This ask also comes with a recent track record. Earlier support helped Titanes get access to electronic timing, and that progress showed up in competition. You can see part of that work in our Titanes Performance Camp 2025 report.
After that, three athletes qualified for the national stage of the Olimpiada CONADE, another major step in Mexico’s youth sports system. Raúl Martínez, now qualified in the U16 80 meters, is one of them. The support already led somewhere.
What the Money Covers
This fundraiser is for one short trip.
We are raising money for transportation, lodging, and meals tied to this meet.
We are not raising money for salaries, long-term equipment purchases, or other travel outside this trip.
The public campaign goal is $1,750 USD. For a group of more than 15 athletes and their coach, that’s a modest target for four days on the road. It is not a season budget. It is one trip, and the basics that come with it.
What Happens After the Meet
After the trip, we will post team results, photos, receipts, and a short public update on how the support was used. People who give should be able to see what happened after the race. That’s part of the deal.
