About the meet

The official meet page lists the Pomona-Pitzer Invite for April 11, 2026 in Claremont, California. It also states that entries close on April 8 at 1:00 p.m. and that late entrants are not allowed.

The meet runs under NCAA and World Athletics rules. For a sprinter, that gives Alejandra a clear competition setting and a strong chance to race.

Why Alejandra

World Athletics lists Alejandra in the 100m and 200m with personal bests of 11.38 and 23.55. It also lists her as a NACAC U23 bronze medallist and a 2-time national champion.

She also has a real connection to Oaxaca’s track community. Oax Sport welcomed her as a special guest at the Titanes Performance Camp 2025 in Oaxaca, where she trained with the group and shared her experience with athletes and coaches.

Oaxaca’s sports institute also reported her 100m gold for Oaxaca at the 2022 Conade Nationals.
