One Lucky Athlete to Join Huatulco Triathlon with Oax Sport’s Support

One athlete from Oaxaca will receive Oax Sport support to participate in the Sprint Duathlon at AsTri Huatulco on June 12, 2021.

Oax Sport is offering one sponsorship opportunity for the Huatulco Triathlon event in June 2021. Athletes from the state of Oaxaca may apply for support to participate in the Sprint Duathlon, which includes a 5 km run, 20 km bike segment, and 2.5 km run.

Oax Sport will select one athlete based on athletic performance, sports history, and public presence.

Oax Sport supports athletes from Oaxaca by helping with competition access, race planning, and financial support for local and national events. The AsTri Huatulco event is part of a national series managed by As Deporte, with support from the Mexican Triathlon Federation, FMTRI.

The AsTri Huatulco event will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2021. The World Triathlon event will take place on Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico.

“As it is an event of national relevance that has the support of FMTRI, the amateur competition in Huatulco will allow the selected athlete to gain experience with competitors from different places in a high-level event. The selected athlete will also have an opportunity to show their capacity and talent and connect with potential sponsors.” Diana García, Director of Public Relations and Creativity at Oax Sport.

This is an open selection process. Interested athletes may submit their application through Oax Sport for a chance to receive sponsorship and participate in the AsTri Huatulco Duathlon 2021.

The sponsorship includes:

  • Race fee
  • Oax Sport uniform
  • Accommodation
