What This Program Delivers
By combining sport, culture, and tourism, athlete-led runs create jobs, boost confidence, and foster cross-cultural understanding. Guests see Oaxaca through a local’s perspective, while athletes build careers that extend beyond sports.
Youth Employment
Training in hosting, safety, storytelling, and tour logistics to prepare athletes for paid guest experiences.
Language Skills
English workshops build confidence for guest interaction and professional communication.
Community Tourism
Safe, curated routes showcase historic, cultural, and natural landmarks in Oaxaca.
2025–2028 Program Goals
- Train at least 10 youth from rural or indigenous backgrounds as certified running tour leaders.
- Host 100+ guests annually via Airbnb and Go! Running Tours.
- Direct 100% of host income to athlete training, gear, and race travel.
- Acquire one community van to expand safe trail and rural access.
