About Fahad

Fahad Hizam alHarbi, originally from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, has been actively leading Oax Sport since its founding in 2020. Now entering its sixth year, Fahad continues to focus on securing financial resources and expanding opportunities for Oaxacan athletes.

Education

• University of West Florida: MS in Criminal Justice; Graduate Certificate in Acquisition and Contract Administration
• Universitat de Barcelona: Master’s in Advanced Studies in Spanish and Latin American Literature
• Minot State University: BS in Criminal Justice and BA in Spanish Literature (both Magna Cum Laude)

Community Impact

From 2015 to 2018 in North Dakota, Fahad volunteered with the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army. His efforts included promoting fire safety awareness and supporting victims of domestic abuse and human trafficking. These experiences shaped his commitment to community service and public impact.

At Oax Sport, Fahad has secured nonprofit grants and led collaborations to ensure sustained growth. His focus includes developing public, cultural, and educational grant initiatives to strengthen the organization’s impact.

• Scout Design: Partnered to secure high-quality athletic apparel for female athletes.
• Halcones CECAFID: Negotiated access to professional training facilities for enhanced athlete preparation.
• Clínica Médica Ángelus: Established ongoing collaboration to provide comprehensive healthcare through a network of clinics in Oaxaca de Juárez.
